With over 20 years of experience as a litigator, John is a risk-taker by nature, and nevertheless a savvy tactician and skilled negotiator who is willing to do what it takes to win. John is no “Yes Man,” and has earned the trust of his clients not by telling them what they want to hear, but by telling them what they need to know. John also has an extensive background in software compliance, IP litigation in both federal and state courts, trademark and copyright work, as well as contract negotiation. John is the team’s captain and coach all rolled up into one package.

Holly has over 20 years’ experience as a paralegal with a large majority of that experience in litigation. Holly is also a small business owner and our Office Manager. She specializes in trademark, copyright, and IP litigation. Holly is a loyal team player that will always deliver. She also has years of experience in small business management, insurance law, real estate, contracts, data mining, licensing and Human Resources Administration.

Melissa is an Independent Certified Intellectual Property Paralegal specializing in global trademark and patent prosecution, brand protection, and anti-counterfeiting actions. With extensive experience in the field, she is dedicated to safeguarding intellectual property rights and enforcing trademark regulations. Melissa’s background includes working for prominent intellectual property law firms and as a senior in-house paralegal. She founded Docket Dobby, LLC in 2019 and has expertise in diverse industries, including AI, software, healthcare, automotive, and consumer goods. Melissa’s passion for intellectual property extends to her former role as Chair of the State Bar of Michigan Paralegal Section. In her free time, she enjoys road trips and breeding champion Siberian Huskies.
